Active control of structural response

Experimental investigation of effectiveness of active control of tall structures exposed to realistic wind loading, modeled in boundary-layer wind tunnels, has been initiated at WEFL.  It is a joint research with faculty and students from Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Colorado State University.  Laboratory studies of effectiveness of various control strategies are complemented by computer simulations.
