Research interests: wind engineering and fluid mechanics, structural and earthquake engineering, experimental and computer modeling, probabilistic methods, and international programs. 

Teaching experience: engineering mechanics, mechanics of solids, fluid mechanics, wind engineering, vibrations of mechanical systems, structural dynamics and earthquake engineering, random vibrations, transport phenomena, experimental fluid mechanics, and computational fluid dynamics.

Recent research activity: development and application of innovative techniques for physical modeling and analysis of wind flow and wind-induced loading on buildings and structures, control of wind and earthquake-induced structural response, experimental and numerical studies of bluff body aerodynamics and flow-structure interaction. 

Research collaboration: faculty and students from Colorado State University, Texas Tech University and Iowa State University.
