Industrial Aerodynamics Wind Tunnel (IWT) 

This recirculating facility has a test section 6 ft (1.83 m) wide by 60 ft (18.29 m) long with a ceiling height adjustable from 5 ft (1.52 m) through 7 ft (2.13 m).  The wind speed can be continuously varied up to approximately 80 fps, depending on blockage inside the tunnel.  Further characteristics are listed in the Summary Table.  To examine the elevation and plan views of the IWT, please click a thumbnail below.

This tunnel has been primarily employed in studies of wind effects on buildings and structures, and their components.
