Validation of numerical simulations using WEFL's experimental data

CFD capabilities available at WEFL allow for numerical simulation of variety of wind/fluid flows and their interaction with buildings and structures. 

In the example illustrated above, simulation of a tornadic vortex, it was possible to numerically reproduce, using CFD software (Fluent®), gross features of flow, obtained in the WEFL's small-scale tornado generator.
