Modeling of urban dispersion

Transportation tunnels represent an option considered by municipal authorities to ease traffic congestion in urban areas.  Exhaust from tunnel ventilation systems impact the distribution of pollutants in such areas.  Wind tunnel modeling, illustrated above, offers a realistic evaluation tool for the air quality impact studies for this and other consequences of human activity in urban environment.
