Wind power studies

In the study referred to in the above picture, the optimal spacing of a wind turbine array was determined by monitoring the power output from the model wind turbines for different horizontal and vertical spacing.  Each model wind turbine was loaded via a small DC generator to insure a properly scaled turbine wake.
